Elizabeth Esther Café at Cobalt Manor is a fine-dining café in Historic Smyrna, Delaware, serving made-from-scratch breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch in a beautifully restored 1868 mansion. We welcome guests from Smyrna, Middletown, Dover and surrounding areas for seasonal dishes, thoughtful hospitality, and an elevated dining experience—always warm and approachable.
Reservations are strongly suggested but not required.
We do not take reservations over the phone.

Where do guests park? There is street parking on both Commerce and East Street. The municipal parking lot is also located a short walk away at the corner of East Street and South Street.

Q and A
Reserve your seat. We do not take phone reservations. Reservations must be made more than three hours in advance. Patio reservations are based on weather availability.
Parties of nine guest or more must contact us to make prior arrangements. Because we are a restored historic home the kitchen and indoor dining space is limited.
